When you purchase something from The Journal Atelier, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, billing/shipping address, and email address. This helps us process your order, deliver products, provide customer support, and improve your shopping experience.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address to help us learn about your browser and operating system, and to help protect the store from fraud and abuse.
Email & Text Marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails or text messages about our store, new journaling and scrapbooking collections, special offers, and updates. This may include abandoned checkout reminders and other messages powered by automated systems (e.g., webhooks).

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our creative supplies and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases, and general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).
Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
